I've never worked in monotone watercolour, but this definately looks like it would have taken some doing. Everything seems almost spot on, especially his right hand. Excellent work. ^^

the level of skill to work on monotone watercolors astounds me. the easy blending of the many different grays is fantastic. and the detail work on the motorcycle? and his hands? the jeans and jacket? hell, the face? amazing work indeed! i'm very impressed.
and plus, as said, it IS Hugh Laurie, with "wind-tousled hair" perched on a bitchin' motorcycle. and i am all sorts of okay with that. oh yes indeed.
all in all, epic painting.
